Pancho & Sal
November 6th

Pancho and Sal were a great hit as usual. A strong turn out in what was the final SFG at "The Lounge" before it shakes hands with the demo crew in January. It will be at least 12 months before the ANAF opens again. We had a special guest with Rickey Mann, an accordionist of great repute. Rickey has played with Dal Richards, David Foster, and had the audience spellbound.

Andy Vine
October 17th

What a great show by Andy Vine last night. Despite a less than full house due to the Canucks hockey game, a good time was held by all. Andy charmed the audience with protest songs from his "Ban the Bomb" days in Britain, plus some original compostions. He played several songs from his recent cd "Making Waves". It was a bit of a family event for the Vine's with wife Danielle and son Simon adding harmony and guitar.

Steve Alexander
October 2nd

Steve Alexander and his "Hot Band" entertained the crowd at the "Lounge" at the ANAF #284 in Steveston. Despite two political debates on TV that evening we had a good turnout and a great time. Steve was accompanied by Kody on guitar, wife Liz on vocals, Stu Macdonald on double bass, and Colin Goldie on mandolin. Don Fraser (Mr Dobro), with Stu on bass and Sue Vigneur on guitar, did a great opening set. We ended up with a "hootenany" in the end with various guest musicians being called up from th audience. Quite a magic evening.

Back Door Slam
September 18th

A great night at Britannia Heritage Shipyards with " Back Door Slam" with Kat Wahamaa, Tony Rees, Jenny Bice, and Joe Samorodin. Great synergy on stage, and some fine old tunes. Great vocals from Kat and nice fiddle work from Jenny. A real fun group, lots of audience participation.
